Air Hockey Game - Fun for the Entire Family

Air hockey games are something my family had fun with for many years. I recall when my old man first bought my siblings and I an air hockey game. We were delighted. We played it for hours and hours. Of course, this was before there were video games.

We loved the air hockey game. My father used to play with us and even my mom would get in on a match or two. I can honestly reminisce and say that a number of my most treasured stories from my adolescence involve the air hockey game and our family tournaments.

This past Christmas I purchased an air hockey game for my family. I have 2 boys and one daughter. Initially my wife was a little bit undecided with us picking out an air hockey table, she thought that our daughter would hate it and that our sons would control it. I will confess, I had those identical considerations.

After a great deal of debate we decided to purchase the air hockey game and institute several family rules. We wanted it to be a family game and not something just for my 2 sons. They were thrilled with the suggestion because they thought that my wife and daughter would be effortless to beat. Wow, they were mistaken.

I told my sons that air hockey was a sport of tempo, agility and reactions, not a game of force and muscle. They did not listen and after they lost to my wife and daughter soundly for weeks, they finally took the hint and stopped with the power shots and focus more on speediness.

My whole family plays the air hockey game and laughs and has a good time. It is exactly like when I used to be a teen. The natural amount of name calling is taken care of when they’re made. Although the mockery is just as much a part of why we have a fantastic time as the game itself. We keep the antagonism friendly and make it a family affair.

When we havea family tournament, my wife goes over the top with the food. She makes the kids believe that they are in an actual competition and they need to eat and drink to stay quick. My sons always eat a lot but they eat like adults on air hockey game nights. My daughter even eats a bit more than usual (so instead of eating like a bird she eats like a hefty bird).

If any family is thinking about an air hockey game for their home, I would highly recommend it. The air hockey games made now are a lot of better in value and are just as much entertainment as they were when I was a kid.

I purchased my air hockey game on-line and received an awesome deal on it. I plan to get one for my brother's kids this year so they can have fun too. My brother loved the idea when I initial brought it up and his wife agreed promptly after speaking to my wife.

There are a small number of things that bring our family together. We all have active lives and different interests. Our family air hockey game tournaments undeniably bring us all together. If you are ready for family enjoyment and some friendly opposition you’re ready for an air hockey game.
