One of my favorite parts of Internet are online birthday cards. They may seem very trivial to you, but to my social life, they are crucial. You see, I have little free time in my life. My friends and I are all extremely busy. So busy that sometimes weeks can go by before we can visit each other. Even though we plan to take our vacations at the same time this year, in the meantime we miss some personal events. It also happened that we missed each others' birthdays. Online birthday greeting card give you a great solution to this.

There are so many things to like about online birthday cards. In the first place, there is an enormous selection available. You can find an online birthday card for almost anyone. I even found an online birthday card with a backgammon topic for my friend Mike who plays backgammon. You wouldn't believe the variety of online greeting cards if you haven't looked to find out for yourself. Basically, any idea for onlinebirthdaycards has most certainly been created already. It just waits for you to download it, or send it over e-mail.

More importantly, though, online birthday cards have a tendancy to be free of charge and extremely convenient. You don't have to mail them to a friend because you simply send them over e-mail. You can get online birthday cards at the very last minute, and no one will notice. On top of this, you can customize them. You can even make your own online birthday cards if you want to. Almost everyone has Photoshop, or something similar nowadays. All you have to do is write some text. Import a picture, make any modifications that you want, and there you have it. The ideal online birthday card!

Some people take it a little bit too far and get an online birthday gift for friends. I think this was a little tacky. You should take the time to give birthday gifts yourself. An online birthday card can suffice in the meantime, but later on you should present birthday gifts in person if possible. Nonetheless, online birthday cards will prove you care even if you don't have the time to go in person. You would be surprised how much of a difference they can make.
