After all, the only equipment needed to start a game of bingo is a set of bingo cards, plenty of bingo markers and of course the bingo cage which holds the numbered balls.

Everyone is familiar with the traditional bingo card, with its 24 numbered spaces and the free space, but there are a number of specialty bingo cards on the market as well. These specialty bingo cards are most often used for educational purposes, such as teaching children math and science. Some bingo cards, designed for young children, will have pictures of animals on them, and they are often used to teach words and language skills to children.

Every player has his or her own favourite bingo cards, and you will likely see the players eagerly sorting through the cards looking for the best numbers. Like all other games, there is a strategy to playing bingo, and it is important for each player to establish his or her own playing strategy.
