By: Joseph Smith

There are many thousands of HUD and VA foreclosure homes available in the state of Pennsylvania. Whether you are looking for a beautiful HUD foreclosure home in the wilderness, or a VA foreclosure home in an exciting metropolitan city like Philadelphia or Pittsburgh, you can find it on a foreclosure listings site. You can also find an extensive selection of bank foreclosed properties to invest in. Many foreclosure listings sites offers complete information on all HUD and VA foreclosures, including photos, number of rooms, asking price, etc. But before you sign up for a foreclosure listings service provider, you will need to understand the types of foreclosure properties available in Pennsylvania
There Are Different Types of Pennsylvania Foreclosure Properties:
• Bank foreclosed properties are properties owned by banks who have foreclosed on properties because the owners defaulted on the mortgage.
• HUD foreclosure homes are owned by HUD as a result of a property owner defaulting on an FHA insured mortgage. FHA forecloses on the property and transfers the title to HUD, who then sells it to the public.
• VA foreclosure homes are owned by Veterans Administration as a result of foreclosure on VA insured homes. Anyone can buy VA foreclosure homes, not just veterans.
• Government owned properties which are owned by other government agencies such as FDIC, the IRS, US Customs and others, as a result of non payment of taxes, penalties, or other amounts due.
